Janakpur — Madhesh Province defeated Karnali Province by five wickets at Ramjanaki Multipurpose Ground on Monday to remain at the top of the Men’s PM Cup points table. Madhesh chased 130 runs comfortably, reaching 131/5 in 24.5 overs. Aashik Baitha starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 34 runs, while Niraj Yadav (38), Arniko Yadav (32), and Mayan Yadav (24) contributed with the bat. With three wins in four matches, Madhesh are level on seven points with Tribhuvan Army Club but lead on net run rate. In the other match, Sudurpashchim defeated Lumbini by 12 runs in Birgunj. Sudurpashchim posted 168 runs before restricting Lumbini, despite Santosh Yadav’s 67, to stay third with six points. Nepal Police Club sit fourth with five points, while Lumbini, Karnali, APF and Gandaki have three points each. Bagmati and Koshi remain at the bottom.
