Dol Prasad Aryal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected unopposed as the Speaker of Nepal’s House of Representatives. The announcement was made by senior lawmaker Arjun Narsingh KC during a parliamentary meeting. Aryal’s nomination was proposed by party chairman Rabi Lamichhane and supported by several ministers, including Sobita Gautam, Swarnim Wagle, and Sunil Lamsal.
